Cornell Law School Shield Icon

The Clinic and co-counsel the NYU Law School Immigrant Rights Clinic jointly filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties in Summer 2021 seeking an investigation of, and corrective action to address, retaliatory immigration enforcement by DHS officials against individuals engaging in First Amendment protected activity. The matter is pending before DHS but several of the individuals named in the Complaint have had positive immigration outcomes.
